Project Overview OncAura is a pioneering oncology and radiology wellness center redefining cancer care in Africa. The brand integrates cutting-edge medical treatments with holistic wellness practices, offering patients a transformative healing experience beyond conventional treatment. My role in this project was to develop the brand's visual identity, ensuring that it aligned with OncAura’s vision of being both a medical leader and a sanctuary of healing. Design Approach 1. Understanding the Brand Vision The foundation of the brand identity was built upon OncAura’s mission to provide compassionate and holistic cancer care. The brand strategy, developed by the team, emphasized these key themes: Holistic Healing: Integrating wellness and medical expertise Innovation: Advanced oncology and radiology services Empowerment: Providing patients and caregivers with hope and strength 2. Logo Design & Symbolism The OncAura logo embodies the brand’s dual focus on cutting-edge science and holistic healing. The key design elements include: Circular Form: Represents wholeness, wellness, and the continuous journey of care Protective Illumination: A visual metaphor for OncAura’s mission of bringing light to darkness through medical innovation and compassionate support Gentle Curves: Balancing medical professionalism with a human-centered approach 3. Color Palette The color choices for OncAura reflect both medical expertise and holistic wellness: Deep Purple: Symbolizes oncology expertise and is often associated with spirituality and emotional healing Warm Neutrals: Evoke a sense of calm, trust, and comfort, making the brand feel approachable and inviting 4. Typography & Design Language To maintain a balance between professionalism and warmth: Primary Typeface: Relax (Modern Serif & Sans-Serif Blend): Combines sophistication with accessibility, reinforcing OncAura’s premium yet compassionate nature Imagery: Incorporates real patient stories, tranquil landscapes, and serene wellness spaces to highlight the emotional and physical healing experience The Outcome The OncAura brand identity positions the OncAura organization as a leader in oncology wellness.
